The new fashion icon appears on Instagram with the "Rebel 24/7" model

Lyn Slater, Accidental Icon, has recently appeared on Instagram wearing the "Rebel 24/7" T-shirt from Spanish brand Ironic Lux. Slater, who has over 500,000 Instagram followers and is 64 years of age, is a new fashion icon. She has signed a contract with modeling agency Elite Model and been the face of advertising campaigns for Mango and Uniqlo, among others.

Ironic Lux is a clothing brand founded over a year ago. Headquartered in Madrid (Spain), it is an online business with customers all over the world. It is a brand created with the intention to bring irony and humor to the fashion industry. Its creative director, Nahia del Valle, is a recognized influencer on Instagram whose account (@ironic__girl) has over 20,000 followers.


"Lyn and I met through Instagram. I've always admired her style and personality," remarks Nahia del Valle, creative director of Ironic Lux. "One day, I received a message from her telling me she would be in Madrid and would like to meet me. Of course, I was delighted to accept," asserts del Valle.

"We decided to go shopping together because she wanted me to show her some interesting shops in Madrid. We spent an entire Saturday afternoon together. She bought a lovely dress from Loewe and especially wanted to discover Spanish brands," the Ironic Lux creative director continues.

"That day, I gave her a T-shirt from my 'Rebel 24/7' collection. Lyn said she loved it and that she was going to wear it often because it perfectly reflected her philosophy on life. It is an honor for me to see her with my T-shirt because I think she is one of today's most interesting icons."
