PRESS RELEASE

Insta Tee, the Most Advanced T-Shirt in the World

This T-shirt designed for Instagrammers includes a personalized QR code that direct people to an Instagram account chosen by the user

The Insta Tee T-shirt is perfect for Instagrammers because not only show their personal Instagram username but also a personalized QR code. Anyone who scans this QR code will be redirected to the Instagrammer’s personal account.

“Insta Tee is a T-shirt designed by and for Instagram users. The idea is to make access to this social network easier and more fun since you can now scan the QR code instead of typing in the username,” explains Nahia del Valle, product creator and Ironic Lux creative director.

Advanced T-Shirt

The Insta Tee T-shirt was created by Ironic Lux, a T-shirt brand founded over a year ago. Headquartered in Madrid (Spain), it is an online business with customers all over the world. It is a brand created with the intention to bring irony and humor to the fashion industry. Its creative director, Nahia del Valle, is a recognized influencer on Instagram whose account (@ironic__girl) has over 23,000 followers.

“I wanted to experiment with QR code and product personalization technologies because I think combining them can open new opportunities to create more interesting and advanced T-shirts. For me, an advanced T-shirt isn’t one that doesn’t wrinkle or get dirty, but one that opens new means of communication and expression,” explains del Valle.

“For this reason, I have a feeling that QR codes are going to be very important in the future because they make it easier to access more complex means of expression than a T-shirt slogan. Imagine, for example, that the famous “We Should All Be Feminists” T-shirt had a QR code that would direct you to the original essay by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the author of this quote,” adds del Valle.
